Company record ALK / CORP
Al Kima for Plastic Industry L.L.C. is a limited liability company registered in Libya, operating a polymer converting facility in Tripoli. We supply manufacturers, packers, wholesalers and contractors who need the same part, to the same tolerance, order after order.
Background
The company was founded to serve Libyan industry with locally converted plastic goods that had, until then, been imported at long lead times and in inflexible minimum quantities. The first lines were commissioned for containers and household-grade mouldings.
Capacity was added in stages as customer demand shifted from one-off purchases toward scheduled monthly call-offs. Extrusion was introduced to serve construction and agriculture; blow moulding was expanded to cover chemical and lubricant packaging.
Today the plant runs a mixed portfolio across three converting processes, with tooling held in-house for recurring parts so a repeat order does not restart from a tooling lead time.
Facility
One site, laid out so material moves forward only: goods-in, resin store, converting hall, inspection, finished-goods store, loading bay.

Quality assurance
Quality here is a document trail, not a slogan. Every stage below produces a record that stays with the lot.
QA / 01
Each delivery is checked against the supplier's certificate of analysis and sampled for melt flow index and moisture before release.
QA / 02
No run continues past the first article until weight, critical dimensions and visual criteria are signed off against the product drawing.
QA / 03
Sampling at a fixed interval through the run, recording part weight, wall thickness and dimensional drift so a trend is caught before it becomes scrap.
QA / 04
Hollow containers are leak tested, and drop tested from a defined height when the end use or the customer specification calls for it.
QA / 05
The lot number links resin batch, line, shift, tool and inspection record, and is printed on the packing list issued with the shipment.
QA / 06
Reference units from each production lot are retained so any later claim can be assessed against what was actually made.
Plant visits are arranged for buyers evaluating a framework agreement. Write to us with your company details and the dates you can travel.
